Sling Shot to Heaven by Margot and The Nuclear So and So’s is the 5th full-length release by the midwestern band and its catalyst songwriter, Richard Edwards.
Teeth Dreams by The Hold Steady is the 6th full length release by the Brooklyn rock outfit. It arrives with new found energy–albeit a dark mid to late-1980s glossy energy that is sure to confuse rock snobs and Pitchfork–after the artistic exhaustion of 2010’s letdown, “Heaven Is Whenver.”
“Strong Feelings,” by Canadian singer-songwriter, Doug Paisley, follows up 2011’s “Constant Companion.” The third full-length record extends on Companion’s warm country-folk notions, showcasing Paisley’s au-natural, 1970s-era, Nashville-touch without having to set foot in the Music Capital. However, Feelings’ 10 compositions are too smart for country radio or the mainstream audience that these songs deserve to be heard by.
“Hello, San Francisco” is the lead-off track from the upcoming album, “Sling Shot To Heaven,” by Margot & The Nuclear So and So’s.
